Take advantage of this years location and join us for a free guided tour of the Copper Coast UNESCO Global Geopark. Immerse yourself in the breath taking beauty and rich geological history of the Copper Coast, where nature's wonders and centuries-old narratives converge in a captivating tapestry of discovery. Tour will be run by Geopark Geologist Robbie Galvin.
On a typical (1.5-2 hour) walking tour you will walk through Ireland’s only outdoor geological timeline. Your tour begins at the visitor centre and takes you on a fascinating walk to the stunning geological site of Tra na Mbo.Your tour ends at the Geopark visitor centre where there is a café and smallgift shop selling locally made crafts. Student posters and flash talks: Submit a poster or 5 minute flash talk abstract on any economic geology topic to secretary@iaeg.ie before the 24th April 2026. Approved entries will gain Free Entry to the conference.
