The IAEG are delighted to welcome Dr. Aileen Doran to present her talk entitled "Shaping the Future of Raw Materials: Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Values Across the Sector" as part of our 2024 lecture series.
Aileen is a Sustainability and Raw Materials Consultant with Satarla, based in Ireland, specializing in scientific research, economic geology, and CSRD-aligned reporting. Formerly an economic geochemistry researcher at UCD and iCRAG, she developed expertise in sediment-hosted copper-zinc-lead systems.
After completing her PhD on the Lisheen zinc-lead deposit in Ireland, Aileen worked on the Zambian Copperbelt, collaborating with active mining projects to study copper-cobalt geology and alteration processes. She is the 2024 MDSG Early Career Researcher Distinguished Lecturer, giving talks on her research and sustainability in raw materials.
The talk will take place on Tuesday October 22nd on-line starting at 7pm.
Registration is open via the IAEG website. Please register in plenty of time to ensure we are able to send you an invite in time. A GoogleMeet link to access the talk online will follow on the day of the event, and will be sent to all registrants. Please note that the Lecture is a members only event.
